True Laboissonniere

True is a Truckee born music student at Truckee High School who has been dedicated on learning concert and jazz woodwinds and theory for 7 years now. Throughout his musical carrier he has been awarded the TEMPO musical excellence award, received scholarships for UNR jazz workshops, had a feature song in the Truckee High Jazz Band, and was the first alto saxophone in Truckee High history to be accepted into the Northern California honor band, a concert band arrangement of elite student musicians throughout northern California. Being in the jazz combo and doing solo gigs, he wouldn't be surprised if you have seen me either at Moody's, busking in downtown, or performing at the high school performances. He specializes at saxophone for both classical and jazz, but also teaches clarinet for concert band, and the basic principles of music theory, being able to teach chord progressions, ear training, and transposition methods to and from any instrument.
