Music Theory Workshop

  • Heidi Kuzma, PhD office 11209 Brockway Road (The Rock) Truckee, CA, 96161 United States (map)

It’s perfectly possible to build a house by pounding nails with rocks. But it’s a lot faster to use a power drill. Musicians brag all the time that they learned to play by ear and can’t read music. By why? Music theory is easy. In about three weeks you can learn everything you need to know. With the basics mastered, you can spend your time on real stuff like creativity, expression and building technique. If you can’t read music, if you wonder why Am chords show up a lot in the key of G, if you’ve ever wanted to take a solo or if you’re trying to write music and it all ends up sounding the same - this workshop is for you! Instructor: Heidi Kuzma. Ages: 16 and up. $90 for 3 workshops. To enroll, contact: https://www.tahoemusic.net/enrolltoday
