Second Annual Tahoe Joy Festival

The Tahoe Joy Festival is a free family-friendly event showcasing regional bands, youth performers, local artists, makers, and non-profit organizations as well as food trucks and local breweries with wine selections.

The Tahoe Joy Festival will be the culmination of the Tahoe City Summer Solstice Festival and kick off a summer of music at Commons Beach.

This festival benefits the Tahoe Truckee School of Music and Tahoe City’s Downtown Association’s community programming. Thanks to the generosity of North Tahoe Chamber’s TOT-TBID Dollars At Work, the Tahoe Joy Festival will be a free event for all to enjoy.

The Tahoe Joy Festival, the brainchild of Tahoe local Matt Axton, was inspired by Axton’s father and musician Hoyt Axton’s biggest hit, “Joy to the World” (‘Jeremiah was a bullfrog’) and spreading a little more “Joy” in the Tahoe City community through music.

Register/get tickets for this free event!

With an optional donation, you can get a t-shirt, coozie, drink tokens and more.

Proceeds go to Tahoe Truckee School of Music and Tahoe City Downtown Association's community events.

Ride your bike!

Bike valet provided for free by Lake Tahoe Bicycle Coalition.
